INTUMESCENT FIRE PROTECTION SEAL

Palstop® P

The PALSTOP® P – intumescent seal is a cut-to-size piece of Palstop P board and is wrapped in a PE film. Different colours for the PE film are available. At your request, the intumescent seal can be provided with a self-adhesive tape. Further maching of the seal can be realized (e. g. holes on the seal for door locks).

In the event of fire, it expands and seals joints or openings in construction elements. This also creates a stable and highly porous structure, which results in excellent thermal insulation. In this way, the fire protection strip forms an effective fire barrier.

Intended use

The PALSTOP® P – intumescent seal can be used wherever reliable sealing must be guaranteed in the event of a fire. For example, it can be used on door frames or in window profiles.
