COOLING FIRE PROTECTION BOARD

Palstop® PAX

Palstop® PAX is a mineral fire protection board that starts to cool its surrounding at high temperatures. It is used in construction elements to prevent sharp temperature increases in the construction element in the event of fire. In this way, higher fire resistance classes of the fire rated construction element can be achieved. Due to the reinforcement with glass fibres, this product is characterized by high strength and good sound insulation.

Intended use

The board is intended for use in fire rated construction elements. It is used for partition wall elements, panels or structures made of aluminum or steel. The board can be bonded with other materials (e.g. mineral wool) as a sandwich composite. At your request, the panel can be laminated with a plastic or multi-layer aluminum foil.
